How to Pull a List of Registrants for a Course, Session, or Date Range
Overview
Sumac's Course Registration add-on lets you see who registered for a specific course or session in two ways: the Registrations View (with search filters) and the Built-in Reports.
Option 1: Registration View
- Go to Course Registration > Registration View in the console.
- Use the Search Panel to filter registrations by Session, Course, registration/session date range, and other criteria.
- Run the search — the list window will show every registration (i.e. every registrant) matching those filters.
- From that list you can view details, print labels, mail merge, or export the list for further use.
This is the best option when you need a specific slice — e.g. "everyone registered for the Fall 2026 session of Pottery 101" or "all registrations made in the last 30 days."
Option 2: Built-in Reports
From the Registration View (or Course View), expand Reports in the side panel for ready-made reports, including:
- Current Students – students registered for sessions within a chosen date range
- Registrations – registrations for upcoming sessions
- Class List / Class List (Financial) – roster of students for classes with sessions in a date range
- Attendance Sheet – class roster with students as rows and classes as columns
- Attendance by Session / Attendance by Student
- Payment Status – who has/hasn't paid
Pick the report that matches what you need, enter the session/course/date-range prompts, and Sumac will generate the list.
Why registrants don't show up as a simple list elsewhere
The History tab on a contact record shows Course Registrations entries per contact — that's a per-contact view, not a per-session view. To go the other direction (from a session to its list of registrants), use the Registration View search or the Report described above rather than browsing contact histories.
