How does Sumac store dates?
In Sumac, all dates are automatically formatted to the universal date format (YYYY-MM-DD) and this cannot be changed.
However, you can specify the date format used in Mail Merge templates. So in other words, any outbound communications you send to subscribers, donors, and friends (e.g. e-mail or standard print mail), can display the date in one of the following formats:
