If you have forgotten your password to log into your Sumac database, and your Sumac Administrator has configured your database to use the Password Recovery function, you can run Sumac, enter your username, and click "Forgot Password" to go through the password recovery options. This allows you to re-set your own password in such a case that you forget your password down the road.
However, if your Sumac Administrator has not configured your database to use the Password Recovery function, you should reach out to the Sumac Administrator on your team for assistance in resetting your password.
If you are unable to get in touch with your Sumac Administrator and need more immediate assistance, you can contact the Sumac team for help. Because user passwords are a security feature, the Sumac team can only reset your password over the phone. You can call into the Sumac team at:
U.S. +1 716 844 6770 x 1
Canada +1 416 504 8724 x 1
Please call in to our support line when you have some time, and any of our support gurus would be happy to assist you in resetting your password.
Finally, if you are already logged into Sumac and would just like to change your own password, go to your Sumac console, click Utilities, then click "Change My Password" to do this.
