Sumac lock records to ensure that
only a single user can edit a record at once. When a second person tries to edit a record, they receive a notification that another user is already editing the record.
Occasionally, a computer will malfunction while someone is editing a record and the record can remain locked so that nobody can edit it. Sumac has a command to fix
this specific problem.

Make sure that no one at your
organization is logged into Sumac.
Log in as a Sumac administrator and expand the Utility menu in the Sumac console
Under Sumac administration choose "Unlock Records" and select the records you want to unlock.
C
lick OK to confirm that you want to unlock all records
