The Sumac Dashboard

Sumac Dashboard Features

When you log into your Sumac Database, the first thing you will be greeted by is your Sumac Dashboard! The Dashboard is quite versatile and houses a lot of useful data, in a truncated format.

One of the features of the Dashboard is that it can be displayed or hidden. To hide the Dashboard, simply click on the word "Dashboard" in the menu to the left.

Your Dashboard will now be hidden, and only the menu will be displayed. To pop your Dashboard back out, simply click the Dashboard button again.

On the displayed view of the Dashboard, the links are clickable and display a report of the related information. You can visit the Sumac Blog, Sumac Webinars, the Support Portal or even a Leave Us Feedback by clicking the relevant headings on the Dashboard.

You are able to view snippets of crucial information, from your Dashboard. You can view your Donor Summary, Donation Summary, and the Membership Summary. The data in these Summaries are linked to different records and views, and once you click the linked data, the relevant data will pop up.

Once the relevant data pops up, you can view it, edit it, export it, print it or manipulate it in any way that you desire!

Not only that! You can choose the Dashlets you would like to be displayed in each Group of data, to see the information that’s important to you.

How to configure your Sumac Dashboard

Click the Gear icon in the top right of the Dashboard to open the Dashboard settings.
Each segment of data - donor summary, donation summary, membership summary, meetings and reminders, and so forth - is called a Group.
Click on each Group to view the Dashlets in that group. You can rearrange the order of the dashlets, and drag and drop the relevant dashlets from the list available on the left.

You can also rearrange the order and set up your own Dashlet groups.

You can also collapse and expand Dashboard Groups by clicking the arrow beside the Dashlet group names.

Sumac will save and remember these preferences for each user in your database!

And that's it! A wealth of information is available to you from one central place, your Sumac Dashboard. Giving you a bird's eye view of crucial data, and easy access, as the information is just one click away.
