6. Time Dockets Data Preparation Instructions

Type of information that goes in this tab of the template:

Time dockets record the time spent on a particular program by a particular contact. The time can also be related to a client. If you diligently gather time dockets, then Sumac reports can identify the total effort spent on particular programs and in particular time periods. Some examples of what Time Dockets are used for in Sumac:
  1. Time spent by a volunteer on a particular task and the reporting categories of the task
  2. Tenure of members on your board of directors
  3. Time spent by an individual client of yours, in various programs you offer, eg. support groups
  4. Time spent by a staff or volunteer in one-on-one support of a client

How the information entered in this tab will be handled:

  1. Every single row will be imported as a separate TIME DOCKET record.
  2. Every column in this tab represents a field in the TIME DOCKET record in Sumac.
  3. If you do not track information that belongs in a particular column in the template, leave that column blank.
