File Uploads and Attachments

We've upgraded Sumac's file uploads and attachments functionality to a modern, integrated file management solution. With this update, files attached to client contact records in Case Portal are now accessible in Sumac Desktop, and vice versa.

Benefits include:
  1. Unified file management across Case Portal and Sumac Desktop
  2. Easy access to attached files from multiple platforms
  3. Enhanced security and reliability of file storage
  4. Future-proofing our system for upcoming features and improvements

To use this feature, open a contact record and navigate to the "Attachments" tab.



While we transition to this new function, the existing file upload/attachment functionality will remain intact and will still be available in the “Facts” tab

Recently Added Contacts Dashlet is Now Clickable

The contact capacity dashlet now features to click and see the most recently added contacts, making it easier to view and manage new records.

JavaDB Version Support has Ended

Effective this month, we will no longer support locally installed (JavaDB versions) for non-cloud, single user databases. Upgrade to our Sumac Cloud hosting for free to enjoy enhanced security, regular backups, and access from anywhere!
