How to Delete a Saved Report
How to Delete a Saved Report
Overview
Sumac allows users to save report settings for reuse. If you have saved reports you no longer need, you can delete them through the Manage dialog.
Who can delete a saved report:
Any user
can delete reports they personally created (own).
Administrators
can delete any saved report in the system, including shared reports created by other users.
Non-administrators
cannot delete shared reports that belong to someone else — those reports will not appear in their Manage dialog at all.
If a user needs a report deleted but doesn't own it, an administrator must delete it.
Steps:
Open the report type you want to manage (e.g. Outcome or Quick Count).
Click the
Load report settings
button.
Click the
Manage Report Settings
link.
This opens the
Manage Report Settings
dialog, listing all reports you have permission to manage.
Each row shows:
The report name
Shared
— a toggle for whether the report is visible to all users
Owner
— visible to administrators only; allows reassigning the report
Delete
— a checkbox to mark the report for deletion
Check the
Delete
checkbox next to the report(s) you want to remove. The Shared and Owner controls for that row will disable automatically.
Click
OK
to confirm. The selected reports will be permanently deleted.
Please Note:
Deletion is permanent — there is no undo.
You can also use this dialog to toggle a report's shared status without deleting it.
The
Owner
column is only visible to administrators.
