How does Sumac handle relationships between contacts?

In every contact record, there is a tab for tracking relationships between contacts (the "Relations" tab). This allows you to link contacts with other contacts to build a network of who knows who in your database. There are a few standard Relation Types that come built in to Sumac (e.g. spouse, friend, parent of/child of, works for/employs, etc.), but Relation Types are customizable, so you can track relationships in whatever way works best for you.
