As of 2024, all Sumac licenses include a cloud-hosting service in which the Societ team stores and backs up your database for you every day! The Societ Team creates a backup of your database once a day. These backups are encrypted, and we retain daily data backups for 30 days.

All of this means that at any given time, the Societ Team can assist you if ever you need to restore a backup of your database from an earlier date. If you need access to a backup of your database, or require assistance in restoring a backup, contact our team for assistance (support@sumac.com).

If your organization has not yet taken advantage of this included cloud-hosting service, and instead still have your database residing on a computer in your office, your database is stored internally, so the Societ team has no ability to perform, maintain, or store backups of your database.
