Case Management Dashboard Statistics

This article explains where the statistics that appear on your Dashboard for Case Management come from.


  1. Active Clients - quick access to the organization's current client list. This is a count of client contacts with ONE OR MORE Case Plan records whose Status field is "Active" AND Exit Date is empty.

  2. New Clients - a comparison of clients who are new to receiving services this week and this month. This is a count of client contacts with only ONE Case Plan record whose Intake Date field is in the current week/month, AND Exit Date is empty.

  3. Case Activities - a comparison of the Case Activity records entered this week and this month. This is a count of Case Activity records whose Date field is in the current week/month.

  4. Returning Clients - a comparison of clients who are returning this week and this month. This is a count of Client contacts with MORE THAN ONE Case Plan record where AT LEAST ONE of the Case Plan records has an Intake Date in the current week/month, AND Exit Date is empty.

  5. Existing Clients - a comparison of clients who are exiting the organization’s services this week and this month. This is a count of client contacts with ONE OR MORE case plan record whose Exit Date is in the current week/month, and who DO NOT have another Case Plan record with an EMPTY Discharge Date.
